The children, who come onboard go to an hour program where the crew puts on a play called the greatest treasure- with a few crazy pirates on a journey to find the real greatest treasure (eternal life). The also all recive a free copy of the gospel of Luke and a kids cartoon book about Jesus and amaking choice for him.
The other day for my e-day (this is once a week, we are put on a team to go an reach out to both people who know God or dont know God…….. I was sent to lead a team to a high school for a morning devotions…….if u know me slightly u will know that im very scared of teenagers and have never been ‘ cool enough to reach them” But I have learnt that this is Gods job not mine!
The high school was big 1000 students! It was a christian high school, and I was able to give my testimony and connect and relate to them, (as I to went to a christian high school, and heard God every day but it did’nt mean i knew him as my best friend!) They listianed, and i could’nt believe I even could open my mouth! God is Good!
I love clowning it gives me an excuse to be crazy and someone really cheeky! and kids (most kids) love it, with soo many school visits in this port their are soo many oppertunites
A low light for me at the moment is tiredness, it is hard to seprate work in the school, helping where they need help and off time, days are soo full on. Pray for wisdom to know when to say yes and no! I know that’s what life is like for many of u at home!
Happy Australia day, we celebrated on the ship with the limited Aussie things we have, tim tams, minties and vegemie an cheese sandwhiches……what I would do for a steak hahah!
love emma
